- Has been certified through the Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training. (A.C.L.E.S.T.) since 1990
- Licensed by the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA)
- Certified Representative for the International Canine Narcotic Detection Foundation. (I.C.N.D.F.)
- Lifetime member of the International Canine Narcotic Detection Foundation. (I.C.N.D.F.)
- Licensed agitator.
- Licensed by the Arkansas Department of Health
- Authored articles on canine training for newspapers and magazines.
- Authored book on dog training.
- Has been training dogs since 1957.
- Has certified over 200 law enforcement K-9 Handler Dog Teams across Arkansas and the United States.
- Has competed in many AKC Obedience Trials and titled many competition dogs.
- Only Schutzhund III Club member in the state of Arkansas until 1995.
- Owned and handled the first imported BD Hanover (government owned) DPO II German Shepherd in 1985.
- Trained and experienced in over 77 breeds.
- Trained four (4) dogs for President Bush's endorsed Waco School Program to eliminate the drugs out of the Waco School System for ICCI in Texas. (2 as governor of Texas and 2 after he became President of the United States)
- Trained "Nero", the first Explosive dual purpose dog in Arkansas for the Arkansas State Police (for President Bill Clinton).
- Trained the first Weapon / Utility / Drug Dog in Arkansas for the Sheridan Police Department.
- Trained water rescue dogs, termite detection dogs and bomb/explosive dogs.
- Winner of five (5) Schutzhund regional championships.
- Made several television appearances as a canine training expert.
- Provided expert witness testimony for dog evidence in court.
- Seminars for law enforcement administrators on K-9 policies and procedures.
- Provided "Support Dogs" for the handicapped.
- Trained the first Epileptic Seizure Dog in Arkansas for the Chloe family. (testimonial)
- Trained the first Handicap Pack Dog for Arkansas Crime Reparation Board.
- Conducted drug searches for Philander Smith College, Little Rock, Arkansas for years.
- Conducted successful substance searches for Arkansas barge owners.
- Conducted the drug searches for the Little Rock, Arkansas School System, 1992 with "Rambo".
- Provides drug searches for businesses.
- Trained the first Autistic Service Dog in Arkansas for the Todd family.
- Active member in the United States Police Canine Association. (U.S.P.C.A.)
- 27 acre training facility in Pulaski County.
NOTE: This list does not include the thousands of individual's dogs
that Mr. Durham has trained throughout the years. Nor does it list all of the
different specialized trained dogs for families. Mr. Durham has been
training dogs since 1957 and professionally since 1978.
